The Web Development Team is a fee-for-service program offered by CIT. It offers web design and development expertise to those program areas that don't have in-house technical staff. It can also be used to off-load additional projects your technical team can't handle -- either because of staffing problems, special requests, or temporary backlogs.

Most times, an estimated cost proposal is submitted prior to starting work on a project. However, the actual charges are billed to the CIT account number on a monthly basis as the work is performed. You are charged only for the number of hours spent working directly on your project,  eliminating the administrative costs associated with hiring additional staff to perform the work. This pay-as-you go system allows charges to be spread over multiple months or fiscal years. However, if you prefer, we can collect payment up front.

The one exception to our standard billing practice is our CMS Development Service. This is offered at a fixed fee per website. More information about what is included in the fixed fee is available in the What We Do section.
